The King on His Throne
When I lived in Japan, I often hung out between classes in manga cafes. At a manga cafe, you could rent an office-style cubical with a PC and reclining chair, in which you could read, surf, or nap. I have long wanted to configure my computer desk area into a similar style. This month I got one step closer.
日本に住んでいた時授業の間に漫画喫茶でたくさんのんびりしました。漫画喫茶ではパソコンとリクライングチェアーがあるオフィスっぽい小部屋を貨りて、本が読めたり寝られたりインターネット検索が出来たります。私は私のパソコンの机の場所をこのように変えたいと長い間思ってきました。今月それに一歩近づきました。
I had been shopping for a new office chair earlier this year but was never happy with the prices. A local office supply store had a Labor Day sale with some attractive prices. They let me use an on-line coupon as well, bringing the cost well within my range.
今年に入って今まで新しいオフィスチェアーを探してきましたが、値段にあまり納得していませんでした。近くの事務用品屋でLabor Dayのお得セールがありました。さらにインターネットの割引券を使わせてくれて値段が私の手に届く範囲になりました。
Assembling this beast was a bit of a chore, but before long I had a very comfortable addition to my living room. The chair is not a true recliner, like those found in the manga cafes. Rather, it tilts back pretty far. I paired it with a cheap ottoman for a near-manga-cafe experience.
その大きいチェアーは組み立てにくかったけれど、すぐにすごくすわりごこちがいいチェアーをリビングルームに加えることになりました。 このチェアーは本当の漫画喫茶っぽいリクライングチェアーでは(じゃ)ありません。 むしろたくさん傾けられます。 私は漫画喫茶っぽい感じを出すために安い足のせ台を組み合わせてみました。
