Despite the heat, I managed to get out to another Naikaknowa concert and the summer version of Wonder Festival.

Paint Faster!
In the last few years, game miniature manufacturers have produced a new kind of acrylic paint with the promise of facilitating acceptable paint jobs quickly. I tried Army Painter Speed Paints on some Japanese board game miniatures and found this to be true. These paint jobs would not win any awards, but I think I finished each of them in under 2 hours.
ここ数年でゲームミニチュアの 製造メーカーは迅速に満足のいく塗装ができる新種のアクリル絵の具を生産しました。日本のボードゲームのミニチュアにArmy Painter社のSpeed Paintsと言う絵具を試して、その効果は本当だとわかりました。この塗装は賞を獲得しなくても各ミニチュアは二時間以内に完了したと思います。
Naikakunowa One Man
The always excellent Naikakunowa put on another great show, this time as the only band on the ticket. You can see a song from this performance on Youtube. (Bonus points if you can spot my big, bald head in the audience.)
いつも素敵な内核の波は、また上手なライブを完成しました。今回はバンドが一つだけのライブでした。Youtubeでこの出演の歌が見られます。（観客の中に私の大きくて禿の頭を見付けたらボーナスポイントをさしあげます。）
Wonder Festival Summer 2024
I did not see quite as many great costumes or toy displays as the winter version of this show. Perhaps it was the heat, or perhaps I just walked less. Anyway, I still found some cool figures to shoot.
冬のショーほど素晴らしいコスプレと玩具の出展はあまり見かけませんでした。おそらく猛暑のせいか、あるいは、私が今回あまり歩かなかったからかもしれません。とにかく、いくつかかっこいいフィギアを見つけて写真を撮りました。
