I returned to the site of last month’s failed photo expedition, Chiyoda. This time, the weather cooperated, but the crowds did not.

Koenji Surprise Festival
Lesser known than the famous Awa Odori festival, the Koenji Surprise Festival features a bunch of street performers, primarily musical acts and living statues. Not my bag but the kids seemed to love it.
有名な阿波踊り祭ほど知られていませんが、高円寺ビックリ祭は大道芸人がたくさんいます。ほとんどが音楽家と「生きた彫像」です。私はあまり好みではありませんが、子供達はとてもたのしんでいました。
