Hello, I Must Be Going
At the end of last month I traveled to Austin, Texas on business. The whole trip was two weeks and I decided to spend the weekend at Mom’s place in Cleveland. We had a few good meals and just generally hung out. Thanks, Mom!

Can I Interest You in a Steam-Powered Corset?
On the 17th, I went to a small art show called “Artism” for the first time. The show’s theme was gothic and steam-punk, the latter of which has only begun becoming popular here in the last four years. Although small, the quality of the art was high and there were some fantastic costumes. Unfortunately, I could not figure out the photography policy, so recorded none of it. The best I can do is share this scan of an original drawing I bought.

It Was, Literally, the Least I Could Do

Brad’s Cavalcade of Games
This month I played Castle of Burgundy, a very good Euro, Mystic Vale, a fun card game, and Rajas of the Ganges, a worker-placement point salad that left me cold. Oh, and I even played Settlers of Catan, if you can believe it. I guess the classics never die.
今月「Castle of Burgundy」といういいユーロと「Mystic Vale」という楽しいカードゲームと「Rajas of the Ganges」という従業員を置いてあまりよくないボードゲームをしました。 あぁ、それに驚くべきことに「Settlers of Catan」もしたんですよ。 クラシックは決して死なないかもしれません。
