This month I spent some time at Tokyo Comic Con and flew home for Christmas.
今月、東京コミコンで過ごしてから、アメリカにクリスマスのために飛行機で帰りました。
Tokyo Comic Con 2025
Tokyo Comic Con continues to be a mediocre affair. The bulk of people wearing costumes stay away from the photography areas and booths totally unrelated to comic books take up a lot of floor space. Still, I found a cool exhibition of robot costumes which were easy to shoot because they do not move when they are empty.
東京コミコンでは、まあまあのイベントが続いています。コスプレイヤーはほとんど撮影会の場所を避けていて、アメリコミックの関係がないブースがたくさんエリアを占めています。でも、動かないから撮りやすいかっこいいロボットのコスプレだけの展示を見つけました。
Christmas 2025
I spent a relaxing week at home for the winter holidays. Mom and I learned to play Cribbage and fought with a jigsaw puzzle on her new puzzle board. On the flight home, I got to see the Aurora Borealis for the first time. It is quite impressive.
クリスマスと正月の時に家族の家でリラックスした一週間を過ごしました。お母さんとクリベッジというトランプのゲームを習って、お母さんの新しいジグソーパズルのボードの上でジグソーパズルと戦いました。日本に戻る便でオーロラを初めて見ました。とても感動しました。
