Christmas in the Time of Covid
I scheduled two weeks of vacation for the end of this month, planning to travel home for Christmas. The pandemic ruined those plans and made traveling inside Japan unsafe as well. So I spent the time sleeping, surfing the Internet, and playing a whole lot of Hades.
今月の下旬の二週間にクリスマスでアメリカに戻る旅行を計画していました。 パンデミックにこの予定を壊されて、国内旅行も危なくなりました。だから、のんびりしたりインターネットをサーフしたりHades.をたくさんしました。
Due to mistakes on my part, my plan to move out of my current apartment also fell apart. Since I will stay in my current place for the foreseeable future, I decided to hang a curtain to separate the dining room from the kitchen. This way, I could economically heat and cool the dining room and make it more useful. I was so happy with the thick curtains that I bought a second set to replace the thin curtains in my bedroom.
私の間違いのせいで、新しいアパートに引っ越す予定も壊れました。今のアパートにもう少し(近い将来)いるから、 ダイニングルームとキッチンを仕切るためにカーテンを掛けました。この方法で、ダイニングルームを安く冷暖房をできて、ダイニングが役立ちます。この厚いカーテンがすごくよくて、二枚目を寝室の薄いカーテンを替えるために買いました。
Even though I could not go home for Christmas, a bit of Christmas came to me. My family sent me some presents and friends of my family sent a giant box of homemade cookies. Nothing smells more like the holidays than banana cookies!
クリスマスの時に帰れなかったけど、ちょっとしたクリスマスは私に来ました。家族はプレゼントを送ってくれて、友達は自家製クッキーをたくさん送ってくれました。クリスマス について言えば、バナナクッキーは一番いいクリスマスの香りです。
