Eiichi and I tried a newfangled ramen shop where you dip your noodles rather than having them served in the soup. It was a nice meal but the place was really crowded. Masumi, Hiroko, and I tried a new (to me) Indian place in Koenji. The new office is less idiosyncratic and comfortable than the old office. But the food is better. And there are tons of board-game-ready tables Week 2019<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#8217;s Golden Week, a series of national holidays, is slightly longer than normal, so I had 12 consecutive days off at the end of April and the beginning of May. Initially, I wanted to travel to Osaka but as Golden Week approached, I realized that all I really wanted to do was rest at home. I have had a busy 5 months! I&#8217;m sensing a trend here.<br>\nIn happier news I taught my coworker, Jeff, how to play \u201dCarcassonne\u201d and he loved it.
