Jack White brought his solo tour to a large club near me called Toyosu Pit. The show was a mix of The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, and solo songs. It was a great show and the all-ages crowd was very enthusiastic. The cherry blossoms decided to bloom anyway. I trudged out to nearby Chiyoda, home of the famous Tokyo Budokan, armed with my camera, a large umbrella, and grim determination. I got a bunch of depressing photos for my efforts. Hopefully there will be a better opportunity next There is a tiny cafe near my apartment called \u201cButter\u201d with seating for about six people. I arrived three hours after the show&#8217;s opening and the entrance line was still 2000 people strong.
